Harwood Heights police conduct road safety check

HARWOOD HEIGHTS
The Harwood Heights Police Department will conduct road safety checks from 10:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17 and Aug. 24, at Lawrence and Harlem avenues.
Officers will check vehicles to make sure equipment such as lights are in working order and look for seat belt compliance, including car seats.
Officers also will be on the lookout for those driving while under the influence.
