A man faces five felony counts of arson after he allegedly set garages and Dumpsters on fire Sunday on Chicago’s Northwest Side, authorities said.
Thomas Walsh, 23, was arrested shortly after a witness told police Walsh had started about a half dozen fires in the 6100 and 6300 blocks of West Fletcher Street about 5 a.m., police said.
Walsh, of the 3100 block of North Menard Avenue, is expected to appear in bond court on Monday, said police officer Joshua Purkiss said.
A police source said Walsh has “No Regrets” tattooed on his arm.
