The next installment of Taste of Harwood Heights will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Las Palmas Restaurant, 6815 W. Montrose Ave.

Tickets are $20 and include myriad Mexican specialties served family-style.

The event is the third is a series that started last year with the village’s 65th anniversary celebration.

The first was a roaming Italian meal featuring different courses at different restaurants.

The second, which focused on Polish food from various restaurants, was held at Village Hall due to the limited capacity at restaurants supplying the food.

The celebration of food options is something village events committee initiated to showcase the many ethnic restaurants in Harwood Heights.

“It’s a way to get people to experience what Harwood Heights has to offer, and to support our businesses,” explained Village President Arlene Jezierny.

Registration is required.
