Norridge recycling program now collecting oil, auto batteries
Norridge is adding a new initiative to its recycling efforts with an oil and auto battery recycling program. Residents can dispose unused oil and auto batteries from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday at Lawrence-Olcott Auto Care, 7455 W. Lawrence Ave. About 10,000 pounds of electronics were dropped off as part of the village’s electronics recycling initiative. The count for the recent Christmas lights recycling is not in as yet.
