Club Chatter

Hello ARC Members:

Summer is here and it is going too fast. ARC members in red, white and blue showed up for a yummy star-spangled barbecue. Members dined on hot dogs and cheeseburgers fresh off the grill.

The Island in the City fest took place on July 7-10 and included live bands, a teen and youth carnival area, with games for all ages. A thank you goes out to all the volunteers for your support.

On Aug. 11, escape to Hawaii for the night and have fun while you join our hula hoop contest and try some Hawaiian dancing. Our annual guests, the Barefoot Hawaiians, will highlight the evening as they sing and dance to sweet Hawaiian melodies.

Space is also filling fast for our trip to see the Cubs take on the Brewers on Aug. 28. What a great way to see one of America’s premier ball parks and to see the brewery that put Milwaukee on the map.

Keep your eyes open for fall brochures. The brochures will be delivered the first week of August. This fall is going to be full of wonderful events and opportunities for fun. Stay cool.
