Norridge Salvation Army offers Come to Bethlehem experience

The Salvation Army Church in Norridge will present its 18th annual, interactive-performance experience and concert, Come to Bethlehem, on Dec. 13 and 14. This presentation takes place at the church, 8354 W. Foster Ave. (corner of Foster and Cumberland avenues).

Featuring walk-through dramas, the busy Bethlehem marketplace, live animals, a baby in a manger, plus a gala concert by a 40-piece brass band and large chorale, Come to Bethlehem will be presented at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, and at both 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Dec.14.

The audience will see the shepherds tending sheep, enjoy the Bethlehem marketplace with its colorful merchant booths and entertainers, see the living nativity and the concert. The concert features the Norridge Salvation Army Brass Band.

Admission is free, but seating reservations are required. Go online or visit the church lobby office: www.salvationarmynorridge.org. Ample parking is available, and the building is wheelchair accessible.
